The diesel power park was commissioned in September 2024, with an electrical capacity of 25 MW and thermal capacity of 66 MW. The main facility consists of a substation adjacent to the main building housing equipment for electricity generation and a boiler house. The energy facility is part of the Chaun-Bilibin Energy Hub and will gradually replace the decommissioned Bilibino Nuclear Power Plant. Initially, the complex will supply the city exclusively with electricity, while the boiler house is planned to be launched in a second phase.
