Facade Solar Power Plant 65 kW at Ural Federal University

Located on a 12-story academic building, this solar power station utilizes vertically mounted solar panels to supply energy for the building’s lighting system. The project includes the development and implementation of a monitoring system that evaluates the efficiency of the facade solar power station under Ural conditions. In just two months of operation, the station supplied over 14,000 kWh of electricity to the grid, exceeding the building's needs by 1.5 times. The station was commissioned in August 2024 and may serve as a model for other facilities at UrFU and buildings in Sverdlovsk Region.
