Replacement of Diesel Generation with Hydrogen Backup Power Supply Complexes

To replace diesel generators at the facilities of PJSC «Polus Verninskoye» a hydrogen backup power complex has been implemented, featuring fuel cells, a hydrogen storage system (metal hydride cylinders), and an electrolyzer with a capacity of 0.5 m³/h. The system provides up to 9 hours of backup power supply, reducing carbon emissions by 1.5 tons per year. The power installation is housed in a container on a trailer and is equipped with a 10 kWh buffer Li-ion battery and a 6 kW inverter.
