AirHES: reincarnation of hydropower
St. Petersburg
Water cycle is the most powerful natural process, which is almost ¼ of the produced solar energy. Averagely, 1m of precipitation falls on the Earth's surface per year, which corresponds to a huge power of ~800 TW, which is 60 times greater than all the needs of mankind and 400 times more than the power of all power plants. Why do traditional hydro power stations produce such an insignificant amount of energy? It happens because almost all the energy is mainly vertically and horizontally lost. How can we avoid energy losses? We shall collect water directly in the clouds and employ the whole available hydraulic potential at any place on the planet. AirHES technology aims at implementation of these solutions.
