Verkhnebaksanskaya HPP with a capacity of 24.7 MW It will become the first hydroelectric power facility in the Elbrus district of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, using a head of more than 480 m on the Adyr-Su River. The 5.1 km long derivation scheme provides environmentally friendly generation of about 92 million kWh per year. Commissioning in 2028 will increase the reliability of the region's energy supply, including tourist and socially significant facilities.
