Development of hydrogen storage technology for use in the AGEC in the village of Novikovo, Sakhalin region

One of the promising areas of energy development is the use of hydrogen as an energy carrier. Hydrogen technologies are already widely used in the world practice. The “RusHydro” group's specialists are also working in this area, including at the AGEC site in Novikovo village. A hydrogen storage device has been installed to efficiently use the excess electricity produced by wind turbines at night. Hydrogen is produced by electrolysis using the "clean" energy of wind turbines during the hours of minimal load. This closed-loop process makes it possible to create an energy-intensive storage device that allows you to enter into the processes of maintaining operating parameters in an isolated network.
