In his address to the contestants and organizers of the X International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements,» the chairman of the All-Russian Public Organization «Business Russia,» Alexey Repik, emphasized that distributed generation technologies «are one of the most effective tools for reducing costs for electric and thermal energy. In today's conditions, these issues are more relevant for businesses than ever».

«This year, the competition organized by the Distributed Power Generation Association in collaboration with Business Russia is being held for the tenth time. The organizing committee has received a record number of applications, which not only indicates the recognition of the award as an authoritative accolade but also shows that the small distributed energy sector is actively developing.
And this is quite understandable. Today, distributed generation technologies are one of the most effective tools for reducing costs for electric and thermal energy, as well as for improving the reliability and quality of energy supply to Russian enterprises. In the current situation, these tasks are more relevant for businesses than ever.
Today, the energy sector faces a number of challenges that are shaping a new list of energy agenda issues. We are in urgent need of a modern energy system based on innovative domestic developments, import-substituting technologies, and advanced scientific achievements.
The projects presented in the competition highlight the great opportunities of small-scale energy and demonstrate the potential of the Russian fuel and energy complex in the field of energy efficiency. I wish all participants and experts of the competition success and fruitful work for the benefit of our country».

The International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» is an independent industry award presented for the best implemented projects and developments in the field of small distributed and renewable energy. It was established in 2013 by the Distributed Power Generation Association and is conducted with the support of the All-Russian Public Organization «Business Russia.» Over the past 10 years, more than 600 companies from 12 countries have participated in the competition, and 37 companies and individuals have become award winners. This year, the solemn ceremony for the X International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» will take place on December 13 in Moscow, at the headquarters of Business Russia.
