Attraction of private investments into the development of distributed power generation in remote and isolated areas of the Far East and Arctic will be discussed at the round table of the Distributed Power Generation Association and FEADC

On November 30, a round table will take place in Moscow on «Attraction of private investments into the development of distributed power generation in remote and isolated areas of the Far East and Arctic». The expert discussion will be organized by of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Distributed Power Generation Subcommittee of Business Russia and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.

The aim of the round table is to discuss the current situation with ensuring energy supply to industrial consumers in remote and isolated regions of the Far East and the Arctic and jointly develop possible mechanisms for state support for investors in local energy infrastructure.

Representatives of business in the field of distributed generation and mining, government authorities, financial institutions and scientific organizations are invited to participate:

  • G.G. Huseynov, First Deputy Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic;
  • V.V. Potemkin, Managing Director of FEADC JSC;
  • M.A. Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Chairman of the Distributed Power Generation Subcommittee of Business Russia;
  • A.A. Kaplun, Director of the Energy Department of Poluys PJSC;
  • V.V. Sofin, Director of the Innovation Department of RusHydro PJSC;
  • P.A. Danilin, Deputy General Director for Distributed Generation, Hevel Group of Companies;
  • Y.V. Zozulya, General Director of RZM Technologies JSC;
  • N.S. Safronov, General Director of Global Hydro Rus LLC;
  • M.M. Gubanov, Head of Power Sector and Utilities, JSC Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEADC).

The event will be held offline on November 30 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the office of FEADC JSC at the address: Moscow, Presnenskaya embankment, 12. Online broadcast will be organized accordingly.

On December 13, a grand ceremony took place at the headquarters of «Business Russia» in Moscow, marking the presentation of the 10th International Award for «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements.» This prestigious accolade, recognizing the best projects in distributed power generation and renewable energy, was established by the Distributed Power Generation Association with the support of the business community «Business Russia,» and it garnered significant interest from industry stakeholders, businesses, and government officials. Representatives from over 100 companies attended the award ceremony in the Russian capital, while thousands tuned in to the live stream of the event on the Association's website.

The X International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» is approaching its final stage. On December 13 in Moscow, at the headquarters of «Business Russia,» the names of the winners of the main industry competition of the year will be announced — those who implemented innovative projects in the field of small-scale distributed and renewable energy during a challenging period for the global economy. The online broadcast of the ceremony will be available on the website of the Distributed Power Generation Association and it will be accessible to all interested parties.
