Pavel Zavalny Addressed the Contestants of the 2024 Award

Pavel Zavalny, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy, addressed the contestants and organisers of the X International Award «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements.» In his address, the expert expressed his hope that the award would «help identify leading projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy, provide insight into innovative industry technological solutions, and showcase domestic developments, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the scientific and engineering potential of the sector».

«On behalf of the State Duma Committee on Energy and personally, I extend my greetings to the contestants, experts, and organisers of the X Jubilee International Award «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements»!

Over the years, this competition has secured a worthy place in the federal energy agenda. This is evidenced not only by the increasing number of participants but also by the consistent enhancement in the quality of the competition projects. Among this year's finalists are projects related to energy supply for enterprises across various industries, remote and isolated areas, as well as initiatives based on renewable energy sources and the implementation of unique domestic developments.

Today, the Russian energy sector faces a number of challenges that are shaping a new set of energy agenda issues. Undoubtedly, the current priority is the technological development of the energy sector, including small and distributed generation technologies, digitalisation, environmental sustainability, and improving energy efficiency.

I am confident that the X International Award ‘Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements' will help identify leading projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy, provide insight into innovative industry technological solutions, and showcase domestic developments, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the scientific and engineering potential of the sector.

I wish the contestants victory and further success in the implementation of energy projects, fruitful work to the experts, and continued development for the Award itself.

The International Award «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements» is an independent industry accolade presented for the best implemented projects and developments in the field of small-scale distributed and renewable energy. Established in 2013 by the Distributed Power Generation Association, the award is conducted with the support of the All-Russian Public Organisation «Business Russia.» Over the past decade, more than 600 companies from 12 countries have participated in the competition, with 37 companies and individuals emerging as winners of the award. This year, the  ceremony for the X International Award «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements» will take place on 13 December in Moscow, at the headquarters of «Business Russia.» Registration for participation in the event will close on 9 December.

Winners and Prizeholders of the 2024 Award

The nomination period for the X Anniversary International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Big Achievements» has come to a close. On December 13, a ceremony for the presentation of the «Golden Lightning» awards – the main accolade in the field of small distributed and renewable energy – took place in Moscow. Despite a two-year hiatus, the Award not only took place but also became one of the most successful in the history of the competition project. The organizing committee of the Award expresses its gratitude to all participants, members of the Advisory Council, partners of the Award, and congratulates the winners!

Golden Lightning Awards Presented in Moscow – The Premier Honor in the Field of Distributed Power Generation and Renewable Energy

On December 13, a grand ceremony took place at the headquarters of «Business Russia» in Moscow, marking the presentation of the 10th International Award for «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements.» This prestigious accolade, recognizing the best projects in distributed power generation and renewable energy, was established by the Distributed Power Generation Association with the support of the business community «Business Russia,» and it garnered significant interest from industry stakeholders, businesses, and government officials. Representatives from over 100 companies attended the award ceremony in the Russian capital, while thousands tuned in to the live stream of the event on the Association's website.

The online broadcast of the 2024 Award ceremony will take place on December 13 on the website of the Distributed Power Generation Association

The X International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» is approaching its final stage. On December 13 in Moscow, at the headquarters of «Business Russia,» the names of the winners of the main industry competition of the year will be announced — those who implemented innovative projects in the field of small-scale distributed and renewable energy during a challenging period for the global economy. The online broadcast of the ceremony will be available on the website of the Distributed Power Generation Association and it will be accessible to all interested parties.
