RENWEX exhibition has become an official media partner of the Award-2020

RENWEX, the largest exhibition in Russia, dedicated of the major types of renewable energy sources and energy vehicles, has become an official media partner of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award.

RENWEX 2021 International exhibition and Renewable Energy for Regional Development International Forum will be held from 22 to 24 of June 2021 at the EXPOCENTRE, where advanced developments in the field of renewable energy will be presented. The purpose of the event is to create conditions for the development of fundamental tools for interaction and effective work within the industry, which is expressed by the exhibition motto: «We create the future of renewable energy together!»

Hydrogen energy, geothermal energy and hydropower, micro-generation, biofuels, solar and wind power plants and electric vehicles will be covered among the relevant topics of the exhibition and forum. The key drivers of the increasing attention to renewable energy sources are global actualization of the climate agenda and the need to reduce costs of manufacturing and the implementing of renewable energy sources.

During the forum and exhibition, innovative Russian and foreign technologies in the field of renewable energy and environmental engineering will be promoted. Also, a wider range of issues related to the development of the retail energy market in Russia in the context of regional energy will be discussed.

RENWEX exhibition is a unique synergy of communication and business elements, making a comfortable condition for interaction between consumers and manufacturers of renewable energy sources. The event helps to develop both businesses that are starting its growth and already established participants in the renewable energy market.

RENWEX exhibition brings together major industry players, such as representatives of the business community, industry related government and research organizations. Last year, the exposition became an international one: 63 companies from 9 countries took part in it: Austria, Germany, China, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, France and Switzerland. Therefore, the visitors represented 42 countries. The business program included 13 events, which were attended by over 120 speakers and 2000 delegates.

The topics of the Renewable Energy for Regional Development international forum include the following issues: retail market development of renewable energy resources and required technical solutions, regulation of renewable energy resources, application of renewable energy sources when supplying power to remote and isolated consumers, application of biofuels and waste disposal, international experience in the development of renewable energy, digitalization of modern energy, development of electric vehicles and related infrastructure, development of energy storage systems for industrial consumers and households. A day will be devoted to discussions on microgeneration during the forum.

Particular attention will be paid to the popular trend of of electric vehicles development. The presence of companies that have recently generated interest within the industry will allow visitors to familiarize and deepen their understanding of the electric vehicle market. The prospects and challenges of introducing hydrogen vehicles, problems of transportation and storage of hydrogen and high production costs compared to other energy sources and other features of the hydrogen energy market will be considered in detail.

Representatives of state authorities, business community, expert and public organizations, consulting companies and financial institutions, as well as leading media will take part in the exhibition and forum.

RENWEX 2021 exhibition is organized by EXPOCENTRE with the support of the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Russian Federation. Organizer of the Renewable Energy for Regional Development Forum is EUROSOLAR Russia responsible for the development of renewable energy. 60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
