Distributed Power Generation Association will become an information partner of RENWEX 2021

 From 22 to 24 June 2021 in Moscow, on the site of the Expocentre Fairgrounds, an international exhibition and forum on renewable energy and electric transport RENWEX 2021 will be held. The purpose of the events is to create conditions for the development of fundamental tools for interaction and effective work within the industry, which is expressed by the exhibition motto: «We are creating the future of renewable energy together!» The Russian Distributed Power Generation Association will become an information partner for RENWEX 2021.

On the front burning of the industry agenda covered at the exhibition and forum are Hydrogen Energy, Geothermal Energy and Hydropower, Microgeneration, Biofuel, Solar and Wind Power Plants, and Electric Transport. The key drivers of the growing attention to the topic of renewable energy sources have become both the global actualization of the climate agenda and liability to reduce the cost of production and the introduction of renewable sources.

During the forum and exhibition, innovative Russian and foreign technologies in the field of renewable energy and environmental engineering will be promoted.

The RENWEX exhibition is a unique synergy of communication and business elements that jointly create a comfortable environment for interaction between consumers and renewable energy producers. The event helps to develop both a business that is starting its growth and already established participants in the renewable energy market.

The previous exhibition demonstrated impressive results as an effective space for establishing business communications, which indicates the success of the exhibition as a link between players in the field of renewable energy and those interested in this new direction of power generation.

RENWEX is attended by central figures of the industry: representatives of the business community, specialized government and research organizations. Last year, the exposition acquired an international character: 63 companies from 9 countries took part in it: Austria, Germany, China, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, France and Switzerland. In turn, the visitors represented 42 countries. The business program included 13 events, which were attended by over 120 speakers and 2,000 delegates.

The program of the forum in 2021 will comprise of eight main blocks and ten thematic sessions, including those of Digitalization of Energy and Energy Efficiency, Legal Regulation and International Cooperation, Decarbonization and Energy Transition, Hydrogen Strategy, Microgeneration, Windpower, Solar Power and Electric Transport.

The presence of companies that have recently generated interest within the industry will allow visitors to get acquainted and deepen their understanding of the electric vehicle market. The prospects and challenges of introducing hydrogen-fueled vehicles, the problems of transporting and storing hydrogen, as well as the high costs of its production in comparison with other energy sources and other features of the hydrogen energy market will be considered in detail.

Representatives of government authorities, business community, expert and public organizations, consulting companies and financial institutions, as well as leading media will take part in the exhibition and forum.

The organizer of the exhibition and forum RENWEX 2021 is EXPOCENTRE JSC, the exhibition is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The strategic partner of the exhibition and forum is the Renewable Energy Development Association (REDA).

60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
