The X International Award «Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements» is approaching its final stage. On December 13th in Moscow, the names of the winners of the main industry contest of the year will be announced—those who have implemented innovative projects in small-scale distributed and renewable energy during a challenging period for the global economy, introduced import phase-out technologies, and continued to provide accessible energy resources to enterprises. This year, the event will take place at the headquarters of the All-Russian Public Organization «Business Russia»
The contest, organized by the Distributed Power Generation Association with the support of Business Russia, is currently a constructive platform for presenting the most advanced projects and developments in the field of small-scale distributed and renewable energy, bringing together industry leaders from across the country.
Despite the fact that the X International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» took place under international restrictions and sanctions, the competition has reached many new organizational and conceptual heights. This year, the Advisory Council of the award has significantly strengthened, with the inclusion of scholars from the United Arab Emirates and China for the first time: Samuel Mao, the Director of the ASPIRE Research Institute for Sustainable Energy, Co-Chair of the UAE Climate Network, and Practice Professor at Khalifa University; as well as Lei Cheng, a Research Scholar at the Institute of Energy and the Institute of Carbon Neutrality at Peking University. The list of nominations has broadened, and most importantly, a record number of competition entries were submitted – 72 applications from Russia and the UAE. Sixty projects made it to the award's shortlist.
On December 13th, the strongest projects will be presented, followed by the announcement of the names of the winners of the main industry competition of the year—those who, during a challenging period for the global economy, implemented innovative projects in the field of small-scale distributed and renewable energy, introduced import substitution technologies, and continued to provide enterprises with accessible energy resources.
This year, the awards ceremony for the winners of the X International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» will take place at the largest business association in the country, Business Russia. The event will gather representatives from the business community, top executives from the participating companies, and members of the International Expert Council, including those from the UAE. It will serve as a platform to showcase cutting-edge projects and facilitate promising networking opportunities.
The ceremony will take place on December 13th at 12:00 (Moscow time) at the headquarters of Business Russia, located at: Moscow, Delegatskaya St., 7, bldg. 1, conference hall.
