Distributed Power Generation Association is Partner to HEAT&ELECTRO | MACHINERY 2023

The Distributed Power Generation Association acts as an information partner of the energy exhibition Heat&Electro | Machinery 2023. A whole range of equipment related to power supply of industrial enterprises and housing utilities will be presented at the exhibition: from design to construction and upgrading. The event will be held from October 24 to 26 at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Pavilion No. 8

The Heat&Electro | Machinery exposition will exhibit equipment used at industrial enterprises of various sectors and municipal facilities: industrial boilers, burners, pipeline and gas fittings, automation systems, metering devices, gas analyzers, heat exchange equipment, pipeline systems, compressors, pumps.

Over 120 large equipment manufacturers will exhibit their products at Heat&Electro | Machinery 2023. In the frames of the exhibition, the highly topical business program will be implemented. The Distributed Power Generation Association will traditionally act as an information partner of the project.

The main events of the business program are as follows:

October 24

  • Plenary session "Import substitution, innovation and local manufacturing in the energy sector as a method of economic stabilization".
  • Conference "Advanced water treatment technologies in the energy sector".
  • Conference “Up-to-date boiler houses and energy centers, construction and modernization. Digital boiler house. Use of surface pumps at industrial enterprises and energy facilities”.

October 25

  • Conference "Hybrid generation for remote and isolated territories in new realities".
  • Conference "Renewable energy sources for industrial companies power supply. projects and technologies".
  • Conference "State and prospects of domestic compressor industry development"
  • Conference "Current issues of heat supply. improving the efficiency and reliability of heat supply facilities"
  • Conference "Pipelines for external heating and duct systems".

October 26

  • Conference "ENTHALPY-2023: expert solutions in the energy sector".
  • Russian-Chinese Conference for facilitating trade in machinery and innovative products

60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. Maxim Zagornov, President of the Association of Small-scale Power Generation, told the editor-in-chief of Energy and Industry of Russia about the main trends and prospects of distributed generation in Russia, how the award is changing taking into account the current realities and new challenges for the industry.

In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
