Dominique Fache greeted the contestants of the International Award-2020

Dominique Fache, Board member at KEGOC JSC, Board member of the SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS Technopark, Board Chairman of the RTF Ltd, greeted the contestants and organizers of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award. In his appeal the Expert expressed his hope for the Award to «facilitate attracting of investments for implementation of distributed power generation prospective projects and deepening of international cooperation in this area».

The appeal, amongst the other things, says:

I am happy to greet the contestants, experts and organizers of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award.

Great changes are happening now in the power generation industry: new developments are being actively built up in the field of distributed power generation, new objects based on renewable energy resources are being commissioned. Russia possessing significant reserves of traditional crude hydrocarbons, great hydropower potential and pioneering nuclear energy developments is not just observing the distributed power generation world trends with a great interest, but is suggesting its home-made relevant projects, equipment and technologies.

I am convinced that the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award will fuel development of new energy sources and their active integration into the existing energy system, facilitate attracting of investments for implementation of distributed power generation prospective projects and deepening of international cooperation in this area.

I wish good luck, successful projects development and fulfilment of plans to the contestants!

Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award is an authoritative industry award that is given for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and alternative energy. Established in 2013 by the Distributed Power Generation Association; officially supported by the State Duma Energy Committee, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Business Russia association since 2014. For 7 years, more than 500 companies from 12 countries took part in the contest. This year, the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners will take place on December, 11, in Moscow, at the congress hall of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RF.

60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. Maxim Zagornov, President of the Association of Small-scale Power Generation, told the editor-in-chief of Energy and Industry of Russia about the main trends and prospects of distributed generation in Russia, how the award is changing taking into account the current realities and new challenges for the industry.

In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
