DPGA and RAWI will hold a webinar associated with the procedure for signing the Agreement on Cooperation between of two associations

At 11am (Moscow time), September, 24, Maksim Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, and Igor Bryzgunov, Board Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, will hold a webinar, associated with the procedure for signing the Agreement on Cooperation between of the two associations. During the event, participants will be able to ask questions about the current condition of the distributed power generation and alternative energy industry in Russia, as well as to get an expert review of possibilities for development of the industry in the conditions of uncertainty of the global economy.

The event was opened by the procedure for signing the Agreement on Cooperation between the Distributed Power Generation Association (DPGA) and the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI). Partnership of the two professional corporations will aim in stimulating the development of the distributed power generation and alternative energy industry in Russia and collaboration of innovative energy projects in Russia and foreign markets.

In addition, the proactive parties are planning to combine their efforts in promoting initiatives among legislative and executive authorities for the development and technical regulation of the distributed technologies market; facilitating shaping of an effective regulatory and legal framework of the industry; as well as initiate the exchange of experience with foreign partners with advanced technologies and competencies in projects implementation in this sector.

Igor Bryzgunov, Board Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, and Maksim Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, will take part in the ceremony of signing the Agreement on Cooperation.

Also, a webinar on Possibilities for Development of the Distributed Power Generation in Russia will be held as part of the online event. During the event, participants will be able to ask questions to the leaders of both associations about the current conditions of the distributed power generation and alternative energy industry in Russia, as well as to get an expert review of possibilities for the development of the industry in the conditions of uncertainty of the global economy.

The Distributed Power Generation Association is a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 uniting hi-tech companies active in the sphere of distributed energy and associated industry branches. The association has been created in order to consolidate the efforts in shaping the distributed power generation market and implementation of innovative energy projects in Russian and international markets. By the moment, 54 energy projects with total capacity of 300 MW have been implemented by the Association. The key annual public project the Distributed Power Generation Association is the Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements International Award. The Award was established in 2013 and is given to the companies that implemented the most successful projects in the field of distributed and alternative energy. The Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) is an independent nonprofit organization established in 2004 and cultivating the wind energy market. The Association’s goal is to provide positive hands-on assistance and support to market participants in their entrance to the market, mastering the production, developing of wind parks and receiving orders for the wind turbines components, for design, construction and logistics services. The list of the members of the RAWI includes over 167 legal entities of all segments of the wind energy market: leading global manufacturers of wind turbines, the largest Russian industrial and power engineering enterprises producing components for wind power plants, global engineering, construction, logistics companies, research institutes and others. 60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. Maxim Zagornov, President of the Association of Small-scale Power Generation, told the editor-in-chief of Energy and Industry of Russia about the main trends and prospects of distributed generation in Russia, how the award is changing taking into account the current realities and new challenges for the industry.

In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
