Maksim Fateev, deputy president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, greeted the contestants and organizers of the VIII Distributed «Power Generation — Great Achievements». In his appeal the expert called the Award makes an important investment to support companies and organizations implementing interesting projects in the scope of distributed power generation and alternative energy».

The appeal, amongst the other things, says:

The Award makes an important investment to support companies and organizations implementing interesting projects in the scope of distributed power generation and alternative energy, develop and popularization of the best technological solutions in the distributed power generation, which allows enterprises to improve energy efficiency, to obtain savings in electricity and heat energy and, finally, to reduce the cost of energy resources for small and medium-sized businesses, to promote their development.

Over the years of the Award, companies and their specialists showed interesting solutions and wide opportunities that instill confidence in the future of the country’s energy security. I wish you all further fruitful work and new winnings!

Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award is an authoritative industry award that is given for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and alternative energy. Established in 2013 by the Distributed Power Generation Association; officially supported by the State Duma Energy Committee, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Business Russia association since 2014. This year, applications for the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award will be accepted until October, 17. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners will take place on December, 10, in Moscow, at the headquarters of the All-Russia Public Organization Business Russia.

60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
