On June 8, Maksim Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Director of MKC Group of Companies, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE celebrates his landmark birthday. He is the man who created one of the best engineering companies in the country from scratch 18 years ago, gathered a reliable team, withstood several crises with it, found his way in life by becoming an entrepreneur.

Furthermore, he has brought together his colleagues under the auspices of the Distributed Power Generation Association, which has largely determined the development path of small-scale distributed power generation industry in Russia. And today, being the Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE, he is solving a crucial strategic task promoting the interests of Russian business in the United Arab Emirates.

Maksim Zagornov, the businessman with an inexhaustible reserve of energy, optimism, entrepreneurial ingenuity, is at work even today, on his birthday, immersing himself in affairs and projects, plans and strategies. And every step reflects his constructive vision!

60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
