More than 30 units of GPUs and CCGTs will be presented at Heat&Power exhibition

From 22 to 24 October 2024, the 9th International Exhibition of industrial boiler, heat exchange and power generation equipment Heat&Power will be held in Moscow, Crocus Expo IEC. The Distributed Power Generation Association is a strategic partner of the exhibition and as part of the business programme will hold a panel session dedicated to the challenges and prospects of distributed power generation in Russia in the current regulatory environment.

Heat&Power exhibition is one of the key business events in the calendar of specialists responsible for choosing power generation, industrial boiler and heat exchange equipment. The exhibition is attended by leading Russian and foreign manufacturers and suppliers.

This year at the exhibition 14 companies will present more than 30 units of gas piston units (GPU) and diesel generator sets (DGU). Among them are Alfa Balt Engineering, DWS Resources, Engen, NPF FITO, GreenTech Energy, Rus Shenkai Oil, GenMaster, Tech-Crate, Weichai, YaMZ, Volga Industrial Engines, Neutech, EastMax.

The total exposition of the exhibition is more than 1000 square metres, which is 70% more than last year. The exposition area for power generation will exceed 650 square metres.

The stand of Rus Shenkai Oil and Genmaster will feature the largest 22-tonne gas piston plant at the exhibition. The stand of Alfa Balt Engineering will show a 1100 kW gas piston power plant Guangxi Yuchai Marine and Genset Power and a 1000 kW YUCHAI model diesel generator set. EastMax will demonstrate Deutz diesel generator sets.

At Heat&Power exhibition you can personally meet representatives of companies, see new products and compare equipment of different manufacturers.

The Distributed Power Generation Association is a strategic partner of the exhibition and as part of the business programme on 22 October (11:00 - 13:00) will hold a strategic session «Distributed energy in the current regulatory environment: challenges and prospects». The strategic session will raise questions about the current state of affairs in the Russian small-scale distributed power industry, barriers faced by domestic engineering companies, as well as incentives for the development of the industry in the conditions of the country's mobilised economy.

60 Projects from Russia and the UAE Make the 2024 Shortlist

The shortlist for the X International Award «DISTRIBUTED POWER GENERATION – GREAT ACHIEVEMENTS» has been announced, featuring 60 projects from two countries. Among the nominees are companies and organizations from Russia and the United Arab Emirates. A total of 72 competitors vied for the main prize of the competition—the «Golden Lightning» statuette. Following preliminary selection results, the organizing committee has compiled the shortlist for the 2024 Award. This week, members of the International Expert Council will begin reviewing the projects. The names of the winners will be announced on December 13 in Moscow.

"Small energy industry strives for great achievements": an interview with Maxim Zagornov

The International Award "Small Energy - Great Achievements" is held for the tenth time this year. Today it is the main industry award for the best implemented projects in the field of distributed and renewable energy. In a letter to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Association of Small-Scale Power Industry made proposals for the development of energy capacities in the Far East

Following the Ninth Eastern Economic Forum, the President of Russia instructed the Government, together with the business community, to prepare a long-term program for the development of energy capacities in the Far East and to provide for project financing mechanisms. The Small Energy Association made its proposals, which were reflected in a letter to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
