"Of course, 2020 will go down in history as a year of a global change. We all found ourselves in a new reality - said Maksim Zagornov. - The COVID-19 pandemic led to a sharp slowdown in the economy, a decline in markets, dealt a blow to small and medium-sized businesses, including in the distributed power generation industry. But any crisis is a time of flexibility, speed, bold action. And many energy companies have demonstrated an unprecedented ability to mobilize the efforts, going on in implementation of the innovative projects, introducing unique developments, commissioning new distributed power generation facilities. I am sure that the VIII International Award "Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements" will help to identify such projects, best anti-crisis practices, adequately encourage all those who continued to provide the country's enterprises with affordable energy resources, developed the distributed power generation industry in Russia and abroad in despite of the situation".
