Within the framework of the World exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai there were held a field session of the Eastern Economic Forum on «Development of Energy Infrastructure in Remote Areas Using Distributed Generation and Renewable Energy Technologies: the Investment Potential of the Far East and the Arctic». The event was organized by the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation jointly with the Distributed Power Generation Association and the All-Russia public organization Business Russia with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Roscongress Foundation.

On September 29, on the eve of the Business mission of Business Russia to the 23^rd International Exhibition on Water Management and Treatment, Energy Production and Environmental Protection WETEX-2021, an online session was held where the innovative power projects of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) were presented. Vice President of DEWA Abdul Syed Abdul Hameed made a review report. Russian companies — participants of the business mission — also presented their projects. The special guest of the event was The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber.

On September 29, in anticipation of the Business Russia mission to the 23^rd International Exhibition on Water Treatment, Energy Technologies and Environmental Protection WETEX-2021, an online session will be held, during which innovative energy projects of the Dubai Electricity Authority and water resources (DEWA) will be presented. DEWA Vice President Abdul Syed Abdul Hameed will deliver an overview presentation. Russian companies — participants of the Business Russia mission at WETEX will also present their projects. The event will be broadcast on the website of the Distributed Power Generation Association.

The solemn ceremony of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award took place in the Congress Hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Moscow on December, 11. The high-prestige Award for the best project in the field of distributed and alternative power generation was established by the Russian Distributed Power Generation Association with the support of the Business Russia business community, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the State Duma Energy Committee, and sparked a great interest of the industry related energy enterprises and representatives of business and government. The ceremony held in the capital city of Russia was attended by representatives of more than 50 companies, finalists of the Award. The Internet broadcast of the ceremony on the website of the Distributed Power Generation Association attracted the attention of over a thousand people.

The VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award has entered the final stage of the preparations. The names of the winners of the major industry contest of the year will be announced on December, 11, in Moscow. They have implemented innovative distributed and alternative power generation projects in the complicated conditions of the today world economy. Heading towards digitalization and efficiency. Energy specialists discussed possibilities and challenges of modern requirements to the distributed power generation facilities during the All Russia science to practice conference held in the frames of HEAT&POWER 2020 exhibition which took part in Moscow. The conference was organized by the Distributed Power Generation Association together with Business Russia’s Subcommittee on Small-Scale Power Generation, RNC of CIGRE national research committee and the Federal State educational establishment of Saint Petersburg,

On October, 28, science-to-practice conference Own Generation at the Enterprise: Innovative and Non-Standard Technical Solutions will take place at the International HEAT&POWER Exhibition 2020. Following international trends of holding offline and online events and for benefits of Russian and worldwide audience the conference online broadcasting will be arranged at DPGA’s website and on DPGA’s Facebook page. On September, 24, the Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Distributed Power Generation Association and Russian Association of Wind Power Industry. Cooperation of the two professional organizations will be aimed at stimulating the development of the distributed power generation industry in Russia and joint implementation of innovative energy projects. Within online-event the leaders of the associations — Maksim Zagornov and Igor Bryzgunov answered the questions of journalists and market players about potential areas of collaboration and future of the distributed power generation industry in Russia.

On September, 17, seven contestant projects of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award appeared at the public review at the Startup Club’s online defense, dedicated to the projects of distributed power generation. The event arranged by the Distributed Power Generation Association, the All-Russia Public Organization Business Russia and the Center for Entrepreneurship was held in the Startup Huddle mode — online presentation of projects and their further inspection by leading industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs.
