Maksim Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, and Anton Usachev, Director of the Association of Solar Power Enterprises NPP, signed the Agreement on Cooperation on September, 8, in Moscow. Collaboration of the two industry associations will be aimed at the development of the distributed power generation and joint implementation of innovative energy projects in Russian and foreign markets.
Mutual arrangements between the Distributed Power Generation Association and the Association of Solar Energy Enterprises for undertaking the actions of common interest have become the subject of the Agreement: joint activities for promoting distributed and alternative energy among governmental bodies and commercial organizations, expert communities and the general population, improving the legal framework and industry standards in order to create favourable conditions for development of distributed power generation.
Supposably, the collaboration of the Associations will be developed within the promising market of hybrid energy complexes construction – autonomous power generation facilities consisting of several alternative energy sources (gas genset unit, solar energy plant, storage tank and wind power generation). Parties noticed that organizations belonging to both associations have extensive experience in implementing distributed power generation projects in various regions of the country.
Which is more, at the initiative of the parties, it is planned to combine the efforts to popularize the key annual project of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Distributed Power Generation – Great Achievements International Award. At the suggestion of Maksim Zagornov, Anton Usachev, Director of Association of Solar Power Enterprises NPP, joined the International Expert Council of the Award.
