II National award «Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements» and International Energy Forum «Russian-Chinese Business Dialogue: Energy Partnership of the Two Countries»
In 2014, the award for the best project in the field of small distributed and alternative energy was the National award and was held within the framework of the International Energy Forum «Russian-Chinese Business Dialogue: Energy Partnership of the Two Countries» organized by the Distributed Power Generation Association with the support of the State Duma Energy Committee of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Chelyabinsk region. The event was attended by representatives of the leading energy companies of the Southern Urals and China. The main goal of the meeting is to discuss the prospects for the development of joint projects in the field of electric power industry, as well as to expand bilateral cooperation in the field of modernization of the region's energy infrastructure. The guest of honor of the forum was the General Consul of the People's Republic of China in Yekaterinburg Mr. Tian Yongxiang.
In 2014, the National Award «Small Energy — Great Achievements» was presented in three categories: «Best Small-Scale Energy Project up to 5 MW», «Best Small-Scale Energy Project of 5 MW» and «Best Alternative Energy Project». For the main award of the competition — the statuette «Golden Lightning» — 74 projects from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Tomsk, Saratov, Sochi, Krasnodar Territory, Chelyabinsk, Belgorod, Samara, Rybinsk, Novosibirsk fought. The winners were identified by a professional jury. For the first time the Expert Council of the Prize was headed by Sergey Yesyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Energy Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
