The Distributed Power Generation Association acts as an information partner of the 8th International exhibition of industrial boilers, heat exchange and power generation equipment HEAT&POWER. The event will be held on October 24 - 26, 2023 in Moscow to bring together key industry experts from Russia and abroad.

The Distributed Power Generation Association acts as an information partner of the energy exhibition Heat&Electro | Machinery 2023. A whole range of equipment related to power supply of industrial enterprises and housing utilities will be presented at the exhibition: from design to construction and upgrading. The event will be held from October 24 to 26 at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Pavilion No. 

26-й Петербургский международный экономический форум завершил свою работу. В этом году ПМЭФ в очередной раз подтвердил статус главного делового события страны. За четыре дня мероприятие посетило 17 тысяч участников из 130 стран, было подписано более 900 соглашений на общую сумму почти 4 трлн рублей. Одним из главных акцентов форума стало участие представительной делегации Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов как страны-гостя ПМЭФ и встреча президентов двух стран - России и ОАЭ - на полях форума. On June 14, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Business Russia held a panel session focused on industrial clusters in the UAE and opportunities they offer to Russian exporters. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center, businesses, and a number of UAE free zones – KEZAD, RAKEZ, Fujairah. The discussion was moderated by Maksim Zagornov, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE, Director of MKC Group of Companies.

Bioenergy Committee establishment was approved at the Distributed Power Generation Association's General Meeting held in Moscow on April 19. Felix Borisov has become its Chairman, being also the Distributed Power Generation Association's Vice-President, Executive Partner of the PHYSICS of HEAT Group of Companies. The main aim of the new Committee is combination of common efforts for the formation and development of the thermal power generation sub-sector based on biomass and joint implementation of innovative energy projects in the Russian and foreign markets.

On April 18, the legendary academician, Chairman of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, winner of the Global Energy Prize, expert of the Distributed Power Generation Association Valentin Parmon turned 75.

"The world needs maximum energy, minimum emissions" was the call of His Excellency Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the UAE, Managing Director and CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) at the ADIPEC-2022 Strategic Conference. According to him, the global energy crisis was exacerbated by insufficient investments in oil and gas sectors.

On October 31, the 26th Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference ADIPEC-2022 opened in Abu Dhabi. Distributed Power Generation Association team headed by Maksim Zagornov, President of the Association, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE is taking part in this world's largest event in the energy industry.

On October 25, the Distributed Power Generation Association will hold a conference Distributed Generation as a Tool for Energy Independence of Enterprises: Innovative Solutions and Import Substitution in the Industry conference. The event will be held in Moscow as part of the International Exhibition MACHINERY/ELECTRO&HEAT GENERATION 2022 and will bring together leading experts of the Russian thermal power industry.

A business mission of Business Russia and Distributed Power Generation Association to the United Arab Emirates has come to an and this week. The fifth trip of entrepreneurs to this country turned out to be the longest in time, the most representative in terms of the number of participants and diverse in the program. Within five days, the heads of 10 Russian companies visited three UAE free zones (Masdar City, KEZAD, DMCC), paid an official visit to Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also took part in the 24th International Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition WETEX-2022. According to Maksim Zagornov, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE and President of Distributed Power Generation Association, who arranged the mission, the developments of Russian engineering companies aroused the Emirati partners' interest.

Ten companies of Distributed Power Generation Association and Business Russia will present their advanced technologies and developments in the United Arab Emirates within the framework of a business mission to the UAE. The business trip will take place on September 26-30. Its key event will be the participation of Russian entrepreneurs in the 24th International Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition WETEX-2022. In addition, Business Russia delegation will visit the three largest Free Zones in the UAE – Masdar City, Kizad, DMCC, where it will also present its opportunities and consider the issues of production localization.

On August 21, the 50th anniversary was celebrated by the Head of the Center for Intellectual Electric Power Systems and Distributed Power Generation of the Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Head of CIGRE C6 National Research Committee, the Vice President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Doctor of Technical Sciences Pavel Ilyushin. The author and co–author of a dozen of published scientific works and inventions, the speaker at Russian and international conferences, the winner of Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award, Pavel is justly considered as one of the founders of the distributed power generation industry in Russia and is still full of professional plans and scientific ideas.

Distributed Power Generation Association together with Business Russia are preparing for a large-scale business mission to the United Arab Emirates. The strategic goal of this trip will be to participate in the 24th International Exhibition on Water Treatment Technologies, Energy Technologies and Environmental Protection WETEX, visit key Free Trade Zones of the UAE, study specific options for opening companies and production facilities, get acquainted with the work of Business Russia Trade House in the UAE, establish direct business contacts with stakeholders.

On July 20, an online presentation of the opportunities provided by the Masdar City Free Trade Zone was held. Zoe Harries, Director of Masdar City, told Russian entrepreneurs about the advantages of one of the most popular UAE Free Zone. The event was organized by the President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Business Ambassador of Business Russia to the UAE Maksim Zagornov and opened a series of summer webinars dedicated to the key free trade zones of the United Arab Emirates.
