Contestants of the International Award «Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements» of different years, as well as the 2020 nominees are invited to participate in the Startup Club dedicated to the distributed power generation projects. The event, organized by the Distributed Power Generation Association, the All Russia Public Organization «Business Russia» with the support of the Entrepreneurship Center, will be held in a Startup Huddle format — an online presentation of projects and their further examination by the leading industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs.

The All Russia Public Organization «Business Russia» will become a co-organizer of the VIII International Award «Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements». One of the largest business communities of the country is taking an active part in the preparations for the award aimed in discovery of the best distributed power generation projects of the year.

Member of the Expert Council of the International Award «Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements», Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, RAS Academician, Director of the S.S. Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics of SB RAS Dmitry Markovich received the State Prize in the field of science and technology. The highest government award was presented to the scientist on June 24 in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin.

The set-up meeting of the Expert Council members of the VIII International Award «Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements» was held on June 30. It was arranged in an online mode and gathered over 20 leading industry experts from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg. Traditionally the first experts' meeting gives an official start to the award project.

From June 17, submission of applications for the VIII International Award «Distributed Power Generation - Great Achievements» is available. According to the organizer of the competition, the president of the Distributed Power Generation Association Maksim Zagornov, despite the world economy crisis many energy companies have shown unprecedented ability to mobilize the efforts, going on in implementation of the innovative projects, commissioning new distributed power generation facilities.

President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, CEO of the MKS Group of Companies Maksim Zagornov headed the Distributed Power Generation Subcommittee of the All Russia public organization «Business Russia» Energy Committee. The decision was taken by the President of the organization Pavel Titov on April, 24.

The event, organized by the Skolkovo Foundation, was supported by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Russia and brought together representatives of business and authorities of Russia and the UAE on one platform.
