Heading towards digitalization and efficiency. Energy specialists discussed possibilities and challenges of modern requirements to the distributed power generation facilities during the All Russia science to practice conference held in the frames of HEAT&POWER 2020 exhibition which took part in Moscow. The conference was organized by the Distributed Power Generation Association together with Business Russia’s Subcommittee on Small-Scale Power Generation, RNC of CIGRE national research committee and the Federal State educational establishment of Saint Petersburg,

On October, 28, science-to-practice conference Own Generation at the Enterprise: Innovative and Non-Standard Technical Solutions will take place at the International HEAT&POWER Exhibition 2020. Following international trends of holding offline and online events and for benefits of Russian and worldwide audience the conference online broadcasting will be arranged at DPGA’s website and on DPGA’s Facebook page. General partner of the broadcast is a leading company in the distributed power generation industry of Russia, MKS Group of Companies. The broadcast starts at 10.30 (MSK).

Boris Titov, Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights, greeted the contestants and organizers of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award. In his appeal the business ombudsman hoped that the Award-2020 will identify top-rank projects of the year and the best technological solutions in the distributed power generation industry which will help Russian enterprises save on energy resources and, consequently, increase marketability in the international market.

Acceptance of applications for the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award has been prolonged till October, 31. The Award shortlist will be available on November, 2; then the International Expert Council will start analyzing the claimed projects. Names of the winners in six nominations will be known on December, 11, at the Congress Center of the RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Moscow.

Sergei Alekseenko, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, winner of the Global Energy Award, greeted the contestants and organizers of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award. In his appeal the scientist noted, that «the issue of development of distributed power generation, in fact, is of a strategic nature, and the future of our country depends on it».

The XXXVI Siberian Thermophysical Seminar took place in Novosibirsk. This year the traditional scientific event was dedicated to the 70th birthday of Sergei Alekseenko, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Director of the Institute of Thermophysics, member of advisory council of Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award. The seminar took place from 5 to 7 October.

A monograph by Pavel Ilyushin, Vice-President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, Head of the RNС CIGRE C6 Subcommittee, Pro-rector for Research at FSAEE AVE PEIAT, Perspectives of Application and Issues Related to Integration of Distributed Energy Sources into Electrical Networks has been published recently. The major study is devoted to the possibilities of application and problematic issues of integrating distributed energy sources into electrical networks.

Maksim Fateev, deputy president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, greeted the contestants and organizers of the VIII Distributed «Power Generation — Great Achievements». In his appeal the expert called the Award makes an important investment to support companies and organizations implementing interesting projects in the scope of distributed power generation and alternative energy».

On October, 28, the Distributed Power Generation Association together with Russian National Committee of CIGRE and Saint-Petersburg Federal State Educational Establishment will hold a scientific and practical conference Own Generation at the Enterprise: Innovative and Non-Standard Technical Solutions, Opportunities for Replicating Effective Projects of the distributed power generation. The event will be held within the business program of the 5th International HEAT&POWER Exhibition in Moscow. The conference will be attended by representatives of leading Russian companies and industry organizations.

On September, 24, the Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Distributed Power Generation Association and Russian Association of Wind Power Industry. Cooperation of the two professional organizations will be aimed at stimulating the development of the distributed power generation industry in Russia and joint implementation of innovative energy projects. Within online-event the leaders of the associations — Maksim Zagornov and Igor Bryzgunov answered the questions of journalists and market players about potential areas of collaboration and future of the distributed power generation industry in Russia.

At 11am (Moscow time), September, 24, Maksim Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, and Igor Bryzgunov, Board Chairman of the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, will hold a webinar, associated with the procedure for signing the Agreement on Cooperation between of the two associations. During the event, participants will be able to ask questions about the current condition of the distributed power generation and alternative energy industry in Russia, as well as to get an expert review of possibilities for development of the industry in the conditions of uncertainty of the global economy.

Alexey Repik, Chairman of the All Russia public organization Business Russia greeted contestants and sponsors of The VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award. Distributed generation technologies «are among the most effective tools for reducing the cost of electricity and heat. Under the present-day conditions, these issues are more relevant for business than ever», said Alexey Repik, Chairman of the All Russia public organization Business Russia in his appeal.

On September, 17, seven contestant projects of the VIII Distributed Power Generation — Great Achievements International Award appeared at the public review at the Startup Club’s online defense, dedicated to the projects of distributed power generation. The event arranged by the Distributed Power Generation Association, the All-Russia Public Organization Business Russia and the Center for Entrepreneurship was held in the Startup Huddle mode — online presentation of projects and their further inspection by leading industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs.

Maksim Zagornov, President of the Distributed Power Generation Association, and Anton Usachev, Director of the Association of Solar Power Enterprises NPP, signed the Agreement on Cooperation on September, 8, in Moscow. Collaboration of the two industry associations will be aimed at the development of the distributed power generation and joint implementation of innovative energy projects in Russian and foreign markets.

The solemn ceremony of awarding the certificate of entry took place on September, 8 in Moscow within the frames of the business meeting between the President of the Distributed Power Generation Association Maksim Zagornov and Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Director of Schneider Electric Sergey Semyonov.
